Las Vegas Wedding Entertainment Costs

Entertainment is one of the parts of a wedding budget couples ask about most, and pricing in Las Vegas can vary widely depending on what the day actually needs. Here’s a realistic starting point, and the factors that move the number.

Typical Local Range
$1,200 $3,800
Covers DJ and MC services for a standard reception. Ceremony coverage, cocktail hour, and add-ons push it higher.
Hours of Coverage
A reception-only booking costs less than full-day coverage spanning ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Overtime past the contracted hours is usually billed separately.
High Impact
MC & Bilingual Hosting
Adding professional MC duties, timeline coordination, or bilingual hosting in a second language typically raises the base rate over a DJ-only package.
Moderate Impact
Lighting & Effects
Uplighting, monograms, cold sparklers, and fog effects are usually priced as add-ons per item, so the final total depends on how many you select.
Moderate Impact
Live Musicians
Pairing a violinist, saxophonist, or percussionist with the DJ set adds a per-musician fee, generally scaled to how many songs or hours they perform.
Moderate Impact
Date, Day & Season
Saturdays, peak wedding months, and holiday weekends carry higher demand in Las Vegas, which can affect availability and pricing more than a weekday or off-season date.
Low–Moderate
Venue & Setup Needs
Outdoor ceremonies, larger guest counts, or venues without built-in sound infrastructure may require extra equipment, which is usually reflected in the quote.
Low Impact

Before You Book a DJ

Confirm each of these before the agreement is final. They cover the details most likely to slip through the cracks between the DJ, venue, and planner.

Exact DJ

The assigned DJ and MC should be named in the agreement. Make sure the mixes, MC clips, and wedding footage you reviewed actually belong to that person.

Venue Cleared

The DJ should receive the venue’s outside-vendor rules, insurance wording, loading instructions, freight-elevator window, and any in-house AV requirements.

Every Space Covered

List the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party locations. Confirm which spaces receive their own sound system and when music begins in each one.

Ceremony Audio

Specify microphones for the officiant, vows, and readers, plus a spare microphone. Confirm who cues each song and whether the videographer can receive a clean audio feed.

Exact Song Versions

Provide direct links for entrances, first dances, cultural songs, and special edits. Confirm the final versions and name pronunciations before the last planning meeting.

Cue Ownership

Every entrance, speech, and formal dance needs one person giving the final cue. Decide whether that is the planner, venue coordinator, or DJ.

Effects Approved

Get written venue approval before adding cold sparks, dry-ice fog, haze, CO₂, or confetti. Confirm whether an approved operator, engineering support, or fire watch is required.

Human & Gear Backup

Confirm who replaces the DJ if they cannot attend and whether that person can access your music and timeline. Backup playback, microphones, and essential cables should be on-site and ready to use.

We proudly serve Las Vegas, Henderson, and the surrounding communities. Whether your celebration is on the Strip, in a local venue, or at a private residence, we deliver the same standard: professional setup, attentive service, and music that fits the moment.

What People Are Saying

Weddings, corporate events, and nights out across the valley. Here is some of the feedback we have received.

Pooya handled our wedding reception with real professionalism. He coordinated with the photographer and planner, kept announcements on schedule, and mixed requests into the set without losing momentum.

Thoughtful playlist and solid MC work. Made our reception feel personal and fun without any stress.

We wanted an open format set for our engagement party and he delivered exactly that. Great mix of genres and he genuinely paid attention to what got people up.

Our ceremony was outdoors with wind and a lot of ambient noise nearby. I worried the sound would get lost, but every word came through clear and the music never overpowered the vows.

Booking Made Simple

We keep the booking simple. A clear path from your first message to your event day, with a check-in at every stage.
